Oxford Lawn Pro: from one-off mows to real recurring revenue

Jeremy Miller ran a good lawn care business on reputation alone, one mow at a time, with nothing recurring about it. I built the website, the CRM, the local SEO, and a membership model that changed that, and Jeremy is genuinely excited about where the business is headed.

The situation

Jeremy Miller runs Oxford Lawn Pro, a lawn care and landscaping business in Oxford, Mississippi. Before I got involved, the business ran entirely on his reputation and word of mouth. Every job was a one-off: a customer called, Jeremy mowed, he invoiced, and the next month started from zero again. There was no recurring revenue, no CRM, and no digital presence at all.

Jeremy is excellent at the actual work, the crews, the client relationships, the quality of every yard he touches. What the business didn't have was a system underneath it: a way to turn a single mow into a standing membership, a way for someone new in Oxford to find him online, or any real visibility into the business as a whole instead of one job at a time.

What I built

Mar 12, 2026

Registered oxfordlawnpro.com and put Jeremy's business online for the first time.

Mar 21, 2026

Loaded the full client roster into a CRM and optimized his routes, then pitched Jeremy on switching from per-job billing to monthly memberships, walking him through the real math on what recurring revenue could look like. He wanted in immediately.

May 4, 2026

Rebuilt the membership pricing around actual customer demand into three tiers: Essential, Premium, and a higher Elite tier held for a future license.

Spring 2026

Set up a Google Business Profile, Google Search Console, and local SEO so people searching for lawn care in Oxford could actually find him.

What happened

In the months since Jeremy and I introduced memberships, monthly recurring revenue grew from a few hundred dollars to several thousand a month, and it keeps building instead of resetting to zero every week the way the one-off jobs used to.

The bigger shift was Jeremy himself. He went from a guy running a phone-and-reputation business to a partner who runs memberships as the backbone of the operation, not a side experiment. That is the difference between a system that gets tolerated and one that actually sticks.

What this means for your business

Oxford Lawn Pro is a small, concrete example of the pattern I run for local and service businesses. Most of them have all the reputation and none of the infrastructure: no website, no CRM, no recurring revenue model, no way to be found online. I build the whole system, the site, the customer database, the local SEO, and a pricing structure that turns one-off work into predictable revenue. If your business runs on word of mouth and one-off jobs the way Jeremy's did, that is exactly the kind of problem I solve.
